The best way to honor those that lost their lives 10 years ago today is not to ruminate on the horrors, but rather perhaps pause briefly & remember … and then move forward; live a full and happy life, and every day be thankful that you are able to do so.
I’ll probably avoid most mass media today, as they are most definitely focused on “ruminating”. That’s not to minimize what people experienced in any way, shape or form. It’s a reflection of the media mindset and my own philosophy that dwelling overly much on the horrors of the past doesn’t imply learning from the past, and too often gets in the way of looking to the future.
